I did write a review about the TP-16 popcorn maker and the wires coming apart under the pan. I would also like to add that we had this popcorn maker for 6 years before we had any wire problems. I have since replaced the wires and all is working well. Other than the wire issue, this popcorn maker has worked great, considering it gets used all year round at our high school. Another thing I would like to say is the help I got from calling Paragon was amazingly good. Everybody from their technician to customer service were extremely helpful. They all seemed truly concerned about wanting to solve any problems I had.

We have this popcorn maker in our concession stand at a high school. There are problems with the wires (there are 5 connections) under the pan that heat the unit. These wires are getting so hot that they keep breaking off. You can fix them, but it is not easy access and you need to be gentle holding the kettle. Hopefully there is a new design for this unit. We bought ours in 2001.
